Snow Day!

I'm glad we have a snow day today!

UPDATE - The girls played outside for almost 6 hours nonstop yesterday and it may be the same today. They only came in to switch out wet clothes for dry. It must be a super wet snow because their coats were soaked through and Peyton's hair looked like she just took a shower. I haven't gotten any pictures yet but the girls both took some...I'll try to post a picture off Mackenzie's camera later.

me too! i can't get the girls to budge away from this house. they went out earlier and played and got wet and cold, so now they won't get of their pj's. i want to go to walmart, alltell, spiffy's, etc. and get some of my errands run. i did get out in the neighborhood earlier to go get our dog - pretty slippery, but fine if you have 4x4. kwa

And it missed us this time..so glad to share the wealth. I think we have had 3 or 4 snows already. But Ben and Rachel are home anyway with strep so we wish it would have hit us too.

my girls were the same - their "snow suits" that I got on sale at gymboree are a total joke. they were soaking wet. so we had to go out yesterday afternoon and get real snow suits at lewis & clark. i finally had to leave today to go to walmart, the do some shopping at the promenade. ann taylor loft has a great sale going. i got the cutest black denim skirt & jacket. the jacket was $14.99 and the skirt was around $20. i also got some black jeans for $20. then i went to baker shoes and got some of those tight black pointy toe boots with a not so high heel and they were on sale too. i also got some jeans for emily at aeropostle for $20. we've had a crisis for her lately with finding jeans to fit. 10's are all too short. 12 slims are too tight in the waist and good length. they don't make 14 slims. so today i got my nails done and the little bitty (grown) asian girl told me to check out the size 00 at aeropostle. it's great because they have so manner different sizes and three lengths. i even got some for myself since they were on sale. tomorrow i'm going to try to find the girls some church clothes at dillard's. they called me to tell me that all sale items are an additional 30% off, so a lot of things are 80% off. kwa

Kendra - you definitely got out and about yesterday! Good to know about the OOs at Arepostle, if Mackenzie ever shoots up (fingers and toes crossed that she gets several inches taller than me). Maybe we'll hit Dillard's this weekend...we are thinking about taking the girls to see that Miley Cyrus concert at the movies.

Sheila - thank you for sharing, we really enjoyed the snow. I hope Ben & Rachel get well soon.
