Christmas Parade

We went to the Christmas Parade today. The girls dance studio moved locations to downtown on Friday so we dropped by beforehand where they were giving out free hot cocoa and then we stood in front to watch the parade. We missed the BHS dance team, band and cheerleaders but were glad they were in LR to cheer on the Tigers (who beat Southside to win the State Championship!)

This clown stood behind some of the kids for a little while before they noticed they had a visitor.
Floats with friends:

Pre-Blog FLASHBACK! This is from two years ago when Mackenzie was in 4th grade and on her school's float. They were all Whoville characters from How the Grinch Stole Christmas! It was a lot of fun to do her hair that day.

Eat Mor Chikin!

You don't have to tell us twice. I really can't think of a time we've been to McDonald's since our Chick Fil A opened on April 10. Today was Cow Appreciation and if you dressed like a cow you got a free meal. We were wanting to do it but then got lazy and I thought we probably wouldn't make it. Then we saw the pictures on the Benson's blog and Peyton was all about getting her moo on! Mackenzie decided she didn't want to do it but Peyton went all out (it helped we had a kit we got at another Chick Fil A earlier this week).

Little Entrepreneurs

The kids decided to get a summer job today - a Lemonade Stand! Morgan, Mackenzie, Mason, Peyton and Tyler Ann are having a great time and have actually sold quite a bit. They get so excited when someone stops to buy that I've decided to never again pass up a Lemonade Stand.

I'm Flippin'!

I'm SO excited about my new toy! It's a Flip Video Camcorder thingy...SO much fun. Very easy to use for quick recording. It won't replace my camcorder (it only holds 60 minutes of video and doesn't zoom in very far) BUT it will replace my cell phone or Peyton's camera which I found myself using to get short videos a lot (plus so much more room) and it will take better videos than my cell phone. Also, it has a USB arm that connects the recorder directly to the computer for easier uploads, etc.! All of you moms with toddlers and babies have to get one!

This is a video of Eddie as soon as I opened the box (the girls weren't home)...I took it out popped in the batteries, and started recording:

This video is of the girls as soon as we pulled into the driveway after I picked them up...I kind of put them on the spot...I can't help it, I love things like this and I was excited...
