One Last Disney Post

More Disney pics, all off my phone...

Right after checking in at the Polynesian (fun fact, John Lennon signed the paperwork officially breaking up the Beatles at this resort):
First character meeting:
At the Speedway:
My driver:
On safari:

I loved the Bug's Life 3D show!

It's not everyday (anymore) that you see a pay phone. This was at The Hollywood Brown Derby, best dessert of the week - Chocolate Three Ways!:
These were very cute, Kermit came home with Peyton.
Just rode the Water Taxi back to our resort:
A little beach time:
You know this color coordinated wall of Legos made me so happy!:
Green Army Man was great!
Lights at Hollywood Studios were amazing (and, once upon a time they lit up Arkansas):

Waiting on our table, Thanksgiving dinner with Pooh and friends.
Our Spaceship Earth future:
Two of these hid in our luggage for a little surprise Christmas gift for the girls, cutest Mickey!

Disney

Our Disney Photopass Disc, with photos from our trip to Disney World last month, just came so I wanted to share one of my favorites. I've never been a huge fan of Disney or wanted to go to Disney World but we'd go for the girls. I admit, it is a magical place. I get it now. We had such a great time. But, what I really enjoyed was nine straight days of uninterrupted togetherness with our family of four!

Most Inspirational

Tonight we went to Mackenzie's Cross Country Awards Banquet. Mackenzie received several awards...Participation, Student Aide, Academic Athlete (all As during the season), Superstar Runner (for participating in 15/15 meets/time trials) and this one:

I love what it says! "...while fighting the good fight against the huge opposition of cystic fibrosis; your courage, determination, character, joyous spirit, and loving heart have been a great inspiration to all of us." What a wonderful description of Mackenzie, I'm a proud mama.

This is a great man! Coach Barrett. So encouraging and caring to everyone:

Blog Neglect

Pics from my phone to give you an idea of what has been occupying some our time since the last post...
Jr. High football games:
I decided to play musical bedrooms with the girls and the guest room. Pics I took during the process, still have stuff to do (hang things on the wall!!):
Razorback games:
Dance:

My sister-in-law was home for two weeks R&R and we had an early Thanksgiving and Christmas with the Jobes.

We had a visit with my Dad before he left on a trip to Vietnam:

More Razorbacks:

Thanksgiving week we spent at Walt Disney World! The first visit for all of us. This was when we first got to the Polynesian:

The first of many character meetings:

Peyton got to "drive" the boat:

Amazing lights:

This was while we were waiting on our table. Thanksgiving dinner with Pooh and friends:
We did miss this little guy while we were gone:
Our town's High School football team made it to the State Championship game. They won and were undefeated, we had fun going to the game:
Christmas parade, Mackenzie was on the dance studio's float...
...and Peyton played the recorder with her school's Swamp Band (their school mascot is a Gator):
Instead of "Where's Waldo?", it's "Where's Peyton?".

Last week Peyton had her choir and band performances at school. Warming up for her solo:

October (Well, Some of October)

One long post of pictures to cover some of October...
Peyton had a project in TREC and i thought she did a great job (minus a few finger burns from the hot glue gun):
Mackenzie after "School Colors" themed cotillion (in her natural habitat, but not really - she actually doesn't like to talk on the phone and doesn't text 'too' much):
From our day at Devil's Den, this makes me laugh - they are booking it up those rocks because there is a snake at the bottom.
I got to go to the Pumpkin Patch with my niece, Lexa, and her class. She was searching and searching for the perfect pumpkin. You know the one...the pumpkin with her name on it!
Peyton took a turn working at the school store. Jason got to help. I wanted to come home and find some things to sell at the Gator Mart, I'm pretty sure I could make some money!
BIG day for my baby...she hit double digits - She had a great 10th birthday!
Halloween 2010 - Mackenzie's collar makes me laugh every time "If I am out, I am lost".
Mackenzie, Bella & Peyton:
Mackenzie and Peyton:
Kendall & Peyton:
So sad, this was my first year to not take Mackenzie Trick-or-Treating. For some reason she thought it would be a lot more fun to go with some of her friends. But I still had my girl, Peyton. We went up and down Central, which I think is the BEST street to spend Halloween night. It was right out of a book, exactly how I always picture Trick-or-Treating.
October also brought the end of Peyton's Fall Soccer season, Mackenzie's best Cross Country race times, my 33rd birthday - on 10/10/10 (a wonderful lazy day spent with family after a great evening spent with family and friends), and much, much more!
